Trinidad is not your typical beach destination and that is exactly what makes it worth visiting. This is the birthplace of Carnival, steelpan, calypso, and soca. It is a country where you can eat world-class street food at two in the morning, hear a steelband rehearsing in a panyard on a Tuesday evening, and watch thousands of scarlet ibis come home to roost at sunset over the Caroni Swamp. The people here are warm, generous, and genuinely proud of their culture. When you experience Trinidad with Tebet Tours, you are not just sightseeing. You are stepping into a living, breathing culture that stays with you long after you leave.
Tebet Tours Ltd is a licensed Destination Management Company (DMC) based in Trinidad and Tobago. We are ranked number one on TripAdvisor in our category and listed on Viator and GetYourGuide. Our founder Marcus Baptiste is a certified tour guide, cultural storyteller, Griot, and MA holder in Carnival Studies. Our team of guides brings decades of combined knowledge in culture, history, food, music, and nature. We do not just sell tours. We sell happiness, nostalgia, and experiences that feel genuinely Trinbagonian.
Yes. Tebet Tours Ltd is a fully licensed Destination Management Company registered in Trinidad and Tobago. We are members of TTITOA (Trinidad and Tobago Incoming Tourism Operators Association) and STAOTT (Small Tourism Accommodation Owners of Trinidad and Tobago). We carry appropriate insurance and all our guides are certified.
The dry season runs from January to May and is the most popular time to visit. This window also includes Carnival, which falls between late January and early March depending on the year. If experiencing Carnival is on your list, this is the time to come. If you prefer a quieter visit with more availability and lower accommodation prices, the months outside of Carnival are equally rich in culture, food, birdwatching, and nature experiences.
Three to four nights gives you a solid introduction to Port of Spain, a cultural experience or two, and a chance to eat your way through the city. Five to seven nights lets you go deeper, adding a birdwatching excursion, a day trip to the north coast, and time to simply soak in the pace of Trinbagonian life. If you are combining Trinidad and Tobago, we recommend at least seven nights total across both islands.
Absolutely, and we recommend it. The two islands are very different in character. Trinidad is cultural, cosmopolitan, and culinary. Tobago is quieter, with beautiful beaches and reef diving. We handle all the logistics including inter-island transfers, so you experience both without the stress of organising it yourself. A popular split is four nights in Trinidad and three in Tobago.
Like any destination, Trinidad requires awareness and sensible precautions. We accompany all our guests, plan routes carefully, and operate exclusively in areas our team knows well. Our guests consistently describe their experiences with us as safe, welcoming, and memorable. The warmth of the Trinbagonian people is genuine and it shows the moment you arrive. We take our guests’ safety seriously and are always available to advise on where to go and what to be mindful of during your stay.
We offer private and small-group cultural tours, street food and night food crawls, birding excursions, Port of Spain city heritage walks, twin-island itineraries, and fully customised Carnival experiences. As a licensed DMC, we also handle group travel, trade partner programmes, and tailor-made itineraries for travel agents and corporate clients. Every experience is guided by a certified, knowledgeable storyteller who brings the destination to life.
You do not have to, but having the right guide changes everything. Trinidad’s stories are layered. The architecture, the food, the music, the festivals all connect to a history that spans African, Indian, Chinese, Spanish, French, and British influences. A good guide does not just take you to places. They tell you why those places matter, who built them, what they mean to the people who live here. That is what we do at Tebet Tours.

Absolutely. This is one of our core strengths as a DMC. Whether you are a travel agent managing a group, a corporate team looking for a team experience, or a family celebrating a milestone, we put together bespoke itineraries that fit your group size, budget, and interests. Reach out and tell us what you are looking for.
You can reach us through the contact form on this website, by email at admin@tebettours.com, or through our listings on TripAdvisor, Viator, and GetYourGuide. We respond to all enquiries within 24 hours and will confirm your booking with full details of your experience.
For standard tours, two to three weeks in advance is usually comfortable. For Carnival season, we strongly recommend booking three to six months ahead. Carnival is our busiest period and availability for guides, accommodation, and Carnival-related experiences fills up quickly. The earlier you contact us during Carnival season, the better your options.
All our tours include a certified, experienced guide, private or small-group transportation, and the cultural storytelling that makes a Tebet Tours experience different from a standard tour. Specific inclusions such as meals, tastings, and entrance fees vary by tour and are listed clearly on each individual tour page.
Yes. Please let us know your requirements when you book and we will make the necessary arrangements. We do our best to accommodate all guests, including those with mobility considerations. Tebet Tours also operates Tebet On Wheels, our accessible tourism offering, designed for guests who need additional support.
