Full Moon Turtle WatchingTour – May 30th 2026

Where Giants Meet the Sea

Every year, along the sandy shores of Grande Riviere on Trinidad’s rugged northern coast, one of nature’s most extraordinary spectacles unfolds in near silence. The leatherback turtle, the largest reptile on earth, hauls herself from the Atlantic depths onto the very beach where she was born, to lay her eggs beneath the full moon sky. Tebet Tours invites you to witness this breathtaking event up close, guided by trained naturalists who understand and deeply respect these ancient creatures.

Grande Riviere is widely regarded as one of the world’s premier leatherback nesting beaches, drawing turtles in their hundreds during peak season. On the evening of May 30th, 2026 at 5pm, we make the journey northeast to stand on that storied sand, in respectful quiet, as the ocean delivers her giants home.

This is not merely a tour. It is a privilege, a connection with a creature that has roamed our seas for over 100 million years, and a reminder of why we must protect the wild places of Trinidad and Tobago. Cultural storytelling, natural wonder, and responsible tourism woven into one unforgettable night. Register Here
